    Abstrakt/ Abstract: This paper focuses on the issue of discrimination against Roma in accessing public and private services in Slovakia. Using a qualitative approach, it analyzes the experiences of Roma who faced denial of entry or service in restaurants, bars, hotels, hairdressers, or other commercial establishments. Such forms of discrimination, though often informal and difficult to prove, constitute a serious violation of the principle of equal treatment and have a long-term impact on the trust of Roma towards the majority society and its institutions.
