Jan Stoklada
Jan Stoklasa is a full professor (tenured) of Finance and Business Analytics at the Business School of LUT University, Lappeenranta, Finland and assistant professor in the Department of Economic and Managerial Studies, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. He also acts as an analyst for the Strategy, Development and Investments department of Palacký University rectorate and as a chief analyst for the Registry of Artistic Performances (RUV) under the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. He received the M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics and M.Sc. degree in psychology from Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 2009 and 2012 respectively. He received D.Sc. degree (equivalent to Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from LUT University, Finland in 2014. His research interests include decision support models, multiple criteria decision making and evaluation, linguistic fuzzy models and their applications, methods for the processing of social-science data and methods for HR analytics with special focus on the academic environment. He has published over 100 papers in peer reviewed journals, books and conference proceedings on these topics. He was involved as a key activity expert in several national projects on quality assurance and assessment in tertiary education. He is a co-author of the mathematical model for academic staff performance evaluation developed for Palacký University in Olomouc and currently being used by a number of Czech universities. He is also a co-author of the model for evaluating creative work outcomes at Czech Art Colleges. Outputs provided by this evaluation model have been used as a basis for allocating a part of the state-budget subsidy among Art Colleges in the Czech Republic since 2012.
